Where Fearless Kids Shine God’s Light

This year we will be fearlessly shining God’s light at Dearborn Free Methodist Church’s Crocodile Dock Vacation Bible School.  It will take place Monday, August 3RD – Friday, August 7th, from 9:00am – 12:15pm with a VBS picnic on Friday, the last day, at 12:30pm.

Our purposes for this ministry remain the same:

  • Evangelism and Outreach: To reach children outside of our church and lead them into knowledge and understanding of God’s love and a relationship with Jesus Christ.  Also, an opportunity for the Holy Spirit to flow through us as vessels for whatever purpose He has in mind.
  • Discipleship:  To provide competent, quality teaching of Bible stories that will engage the learner and increase his/her knowledge and understanding of God’s Word and His love through the power of the Holy Spirit.
  • Ministry:  Making ourselves available and useable to God by serving in the ministry: Vacation Bible School, utilizing our spiritual gifts, talents and abilities for His glory and Kingdom growth.

Vacation Bible School is a long existing ministry that we continue to run with The Lord on.  Please be in prayer for this ministry and the workers involved in it and if The Lord might include you in some special way this year.  This ministry is about The Lord Jesus Christ and our job is to come forward as He is calling us to and be used as vessels and servants according to His will and not our own.  Our hope is that God will change all who are involved and exposed to this ministry more into the likeness of Jesus Christ our only Lord and Savior.  May His Spirit guide and lead you and His blessings rest upon you.  Peace in the name of Jesus Christ.  Let’s serve the Lord with gladness!
