To love Arab refugees by offering the compassion of Jesus that breaks down cultural barriers and leads to intentional and transformational community. Mission Igniter exists to multiply apostolic leaders in communities on mission.

Resourcing You:

Megan and Dustin want to help resource your local church to reach your Samaria. The Weber’s are available to provide the following resources: Journey to Jesus, Finding a Person of Peace, and demographic research. 

Mission Igniter Goals:

Establish Arab House Church Networks – In partnership with Impact Middle East, the Department of World Missions, private donors, the Spring Arbor FMC, Southern Michigan Conference, Hany Salah (a proven church planter from Egypt) will join our team to initiate House Church planting in Arab communities.
Establish New Dinner Churches – Mark and Mary Cryderman (The Harbor) will work with Mission Igniter to establish more dinner church settings in the city of Detroit.
Build Missional Coalitions with Metro Area Churches – Mission Igniter will collaborate with Free Methodist churches in the metro region to identify and leverage other missional opportunities, including the development of multi-site partnerships between FM churches in Wayne County.
Develop Masters of Church Planting Practicum – In partnership with other AFMEI Schools, Asbury Theological Seminary and other non-FMC schools we will develop an accredited practicum for students interested in pursuing a Masters of Church planting degree.
